PRIVATE ONE-DAY MENTORING

You don’t need a big studio, expensive gear, or a packed calendar to create luxury maternity portraits and attract clients who happily pay for them. I built my business from a small space at home, and in one day I’ll show you exactly how I do it, from setting up the light to delivering the final images.
This is for you if…
- You photograph from home, or want to
- You want high-end, editorial results without a big studio overhead
- You want a simple business that fits around your life
- You’re ready for hands-on, personal guidance, not another PDF
- You want to stop undercharging and start running your business with confidence

WHAT WE’LL COVER

Morning

Your Space and Lighting
How I set up studio light in a small space, the gear I actually use, and how to make any room look high-end.
Midday

Live Maternity Shoot
We’ll photograph a model together, either one you bring or one I arrange for you. You’ll learn how I direct and pose, style gowns, and create a calm, luxurious experience for every client.
Afternoon

Editing and Digital Backdrops

We’ll edit your images from the day, including how I retouch and how I composite clients into fine-art digital backdrops.

Wrap-Up
Pricing, Client Experience, and Business Mindset
How I price my sessions with confidence, structure my packages, and guide clients from first inquiry to final gallery. We’ll also talk about the mindset shifts that changed my business: charging what my work is worth, keeping things simple, and building a business that fits around my life instead of taking it over.

FAQ
Do I need a studio?
Not at all. That’s the whole point. I’ll show you how I create high-end portraits from a small space at home, and how to do the same in yours.
Do I need expensive or advanced gear?
No. I’ll walk you through the simple setup I use and what’s actually worth investing in, so you don’t waste money on gear you don’t need.
Is this for beginners?
It’s best for photographers who already know their camera’s basic settings and want to level up their lighting, editing, and business. If you’re unsure whether it’s a fit, mention it in your inquiry and I’ll let you know honestly.
Is this in person or online?
This is a fully in-person, one-on-one day at my home studio in Roselle Park, New Jersey. You’ll also get access to The Profitable Home Studio course to review everything afterward.
Do I need to bring a model?
Either way works. You’re welcome to bring your own pregnant model, or I can arrange one for our live shoot. Just let me know your preference in your inquiry.
What happens after I inquire?
I’ll review your answers and reach out within [2–3] days with available dates. Once you choose a date, a 30% retainer reserves it, and the balance is due 7 days before our day together.

About me

I’m Michelle, a maternity photographer in New Jersey with 10+ years of experience. I’ve never rented a studio. I felt insecure about that for a long time, but my clients hired me anyway. I built my whole business around my living room. Now I’d love to help you do the same.
